Both the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V-8 and 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-four are new and not the same engines we got last year. The 2024 Mustang’s Coyote V-8 gets a redesigned dual air intake box and dual throttle body to help it breathe better.

Transmission

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach1 model comes with a standard 2.3-liter turbo-four engine with 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. That’s the big question surrounding the seventh-generation pony, as rumors say this could be the point when Ford offers a plug-in hybrid 2024 Ford Mustang Mach1 with all-wheel drive. Nothing of the sort has been confirmed or even teased by Ford, so at the very least, we don’t expect anything electrified at launch.
