2022 Ford Ranger Raptor Philippines Release Date, Engine And Colors – A special version of Ford’s most exciting Ranger is coming soon-in July to be more specific. Equipped with all the same specifications as the standard Ranger Raptor, the limited variant will be available in July, and only 200 units will be available.

Ford’s Ranger Raptor X is an upgraded variant over the base Raptor. The unit will be available for a price of P2,038,000-a great price, all additional accessories considered. The ‘X’ will get the same engine and the same great suspension package as the standard variant but with a dash of style mixed in.

All you get are clips of the gear selector and pedals. You can also see that the truck features twin black Cunningham stripes that are framed in red. Whenever racing stripes come into play, we assume that the vehicle is pretty fast.

 The interior isn’t spared of special touches as well. Instead of the traditional blue we’ve grown accustomed to love in the standard Raptor, the ‘X’ gets red stitching all throughout the interior plus chrome accents on the AC vents, and Hydrographic and Black Alley accents across the dashboard.

Accessories and additional components in the limited-edition package include an extended sports bar, red front tow hooks, and a set of matte black wheels with BF Goodrich all-terrain tires.

Current Ford Ranger models have an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. But hopefully, the Ranger Raptor will offer the latest Ford Sync infotainment software and the 360 degrees overhead camera.

We’ve only seen one teaser video and a few spy shots so far, so we will have to wait to learn more. But until then, we can speculate that the Ford Ranger Raptor has the chops to take on the wild west.

While the Ford F150 goes all-electric with the Ford F150 Lightning (Ford F-150 EV) in 2022, the Ford Ranger may progress cautiously in the area of electrification. While the hybrid version is expected next year, a few years down the line, there would also be a Ford Ranger EV to complete the lineup.

In addition, the Wildtrak with the Power Roller Shutter feature will be made available straight off the dealership lot. The variant to get this feature will be the Wildtrak 4×4, and it’s an OEM addition to the feature set of the current Ranger Wildtrak from Ford.

This variant will retail for P1,728,000 and will be available starting June 22, 2021, in all Ford dealerships across the archipelago.
The 2022 Ford Ranger Raptor could receive more power or have a carryover engine.

It could have a twin-turbo V6 engine with 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. The engine is expected to be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

However, the Ford Bronco has a manual transmission, and so does the Australian model, so we won’t count that out just yet. But it would be surprising if the Ranger Raptor is offered with a diesel engine.

What is new, though, is confirmation that the 4×4 XL’s extra-cab chassis, dual-cab chassis and dual-cab pick-up variants can now be had with the Ranger’s 157kW/500Nm 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel four-cylinder engine and 10-speed torque-converter automatic.

Ford hasn’t mentioned how much the new Ranger Raptor will cost, but it could exceed $40,000. This pricing is based on how much the current Ford Ranger Lariat model costs, and it would align with the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro and Chevy Colorado ZR2.
