2023 Ford Bronco Raptor Canada Rumors, Redesign And Release Date

2023 Ford Bronco Raptor Canada Rumors, Redesign And Release Date – Last summer, we reported on a rumor that the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor Canada would eventually spawn a Bronco pickup.

It seems like a natural fit for a vehicle set to do battle with the Jeep Wrangler, which has its own pickup version in the Gladiator.

But since the pickup version of Ford’s rugged SUV isn’t expected to enter production until 2024 as a 2025 model, we thought we’d go ahead and create some renderings of what we think it will look like.

Much like the Gladiator, the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor Canada will essentially be just that – a pickup version of its SUV brethren. Ford won’t look to reinvent the wheel here, because it doesn’t need to.

After all, the new Bronco is already a hit, and it hasn’t even entered production yet. In fact, it’s rumored that over 200,000 people have already reserved one, just two weeks after its reveal.

At this year’s SEMA show, the aftermarket extravaganza that made a roaring comeback this year after being derailed, like so much else, in 2023, 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor Canada were everywhere.

There were customized and accessorized Broncos, as well as a handful of Ford F-150 Raptors and even a few new Maverick pickups.

But what wasn’t present at the 2023 SEMA show, decked out in new performance parts or customized by the industry’s best off-road outfitters.

What’s interesting for us Canadians is that Ford has secured Multimatic as its production partner. The Markham, Ontario company already manufactures the Ford GT supercar.

Multimatic is also supplying the safety cage, Positional Selective DSSV dampers and aluminum lower control arms. As for the engine, Ford has selected the third-generation 5.0-litre Coyote V8 that aims to generate more than 400 horsepower, which could serve as a preview of the future 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor Canada.

It’s perfectly possible, and in fact, the Broncolaptor could even sport the Fox suspension. Even more exciting are the potential applications of these new Fox Live Valve Shocks. I investigated in detail a few months ago.

Basically, they implement an improved internal bypass design, which is combined with technology that measures terrain data that is input 500 times per second. This is the speed at which our brain processes visual information.

Power comes from some kind of EcoBoost V6 – Ford has a Coyote V8 Limited Edition Bronco DR- But I don’t know which one. The rumors I see most often claim that it’s a 3.0-liter variant of Explorer ST, which isn’t surprising at all.

Bronco is said to already be using Explorer’s 10-speed automatic transmission..Anyway, this Bronconation According to the post, we need to expect around 350 horsepower, but I think it will approach 400 horsepower.

So instead of messing with success, Ford will simply take the four-door Bronco and replace its rear cargo area with a proper bed for hauling stuff. Luckily, the lines match up perfectly here, so adding a square, vertical rear roof section is all it has to do.

Engineers will need to integrate the body structure elements into the extremities of the cab, and away from the bed, however.

The 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor Canada is based on the four-door model. In addition to the items listed above, the long list of modifications includes a brand-exclusive High Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (H.O.S.S.)’

System offering 15.1 inches of front suspension travel and 17.4 inches of travel in the rear-up 55.1 percent and 58.6 percent, respectively, from the Bronco Badlands. The approach angle is an impressive 47 degrees.

Then you add 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires featuring an advanced Krawl-TEK compound for improved grip on rock and slick surfaces.

Large air intakes on the upper sides and another on the roof providing additional cooling air, an electric shift-on-the-fly transfer case from the F-150, and brakes with upgraded pads.

Since we’ve been told that Ford won’t put a V-8 in the Bronco, we expect the highest-performance variant to feature an extra-potent EcoBoost V-6.

We’d wager that the Bronco Raptor will adopt the 450-hp twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 in the current F-150 Raptor. Coincidentally, the latter is similar to the 470 horses generated by the Hemi V-8 that Jeep stuffs into the wild Wrangler Rubicon 392.

The Ford’s engine will likely pair exclusively with a 10-speed automatic transmission and an advanced four-wheel-drive system that should work in concert with selectable drive modes.

The 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor Canada should also have an even beefier suspension setup to best handle powering over sand dunes or being jumped through the air, as we saw with this camouflaged prototype version.

Ford has also confirmed that the Raptorized Bronco will be equipped with Fox adaptive dampers from the F-150 Raptor as well as either 35- or 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires.
