2023 Ford Everest Xl Australia Rumours, Redesign And Prices

2023 Ford Everest Xl Australia Rumours, Redesign And Prices – Ford just launched the Ranger in America in 2019. But that “new” model was really a retro-fitted version of the Ranger Ford has been selling in foreign markets since 2011.

So despite the short timeframe, the new Ranger is likely to be an all-new model. And the changes could be significant.

Ford keeps product info close to the vest before launch. But the new Ranger will be coming to (and designed for) America with a proven market. We should see more (and more powerful) engine options.

A tidal wave of enthusiasm for the super-cool US Ford Bronco has made it the must-have SUV of the moment, but the reality of the situation is that ‘Our Bronco’ will be the new-generation Everest.

It’s been only a little more than a week since Ford reluctantly confirmed the third generation of 2023 Ford Everest Xl Australia  will enter production at its plants in Thailand and we have now an official teaser.

This was shot as the Ford Everest enters its final testing phase, wearing an intriguing camouflage that Ford’s press release keeps talking about.

We disregard the camo for now as our digital artists already unveiled what’s beneath it, at least in the front. Indeed, the revamped Everest will retain the same trusted formula.

Being built on top of Ford Ranger’s T6.2 body-on-frame structure. As such, it’s expected to keep the new Ranger’s front almost intact.

Ford has teased the new-generation Everest with a video from the final phase of development before its debut in the first quarter of 2022.

The SUV variant of the Ford Ranger will roll out in selected markets, including the Philippines, Thailand, and Australia, while it is also expected to reach India under the Endeavour nameplate.

The prototype shown in the video is wearing a camouflage inspired by mountain peaks, but we can clearly see that most of its body panels are shared with the all-new Ranger.

Naturally, the front end is identical with the pickup, while the profile is different towards the back where a fully enclosed five-door SUV body has replaced the rear bed.

Compared to the previous generation, the new Everest adopts a tougher look, thanks to the boxy fenders and the new rear with vertical-oriented LED taillights.

While we don’t have pictures of the interior, the 2023 Ford Everest Xl Australia will likely get the Ranger’s dashboard, which means it will get the 10.1-inch or 12-inch touchscreen featuring the SYNC4 infotainment system.

A digital instrument cluster, and higher quality materials compared to the outgoing model. However thanks to the different bodystyle it will offer greater legroom and more cargo space.

The real surprise is at the back though, with the camouflage failing to hide all the details of the new model. As before, the new 2023 Ford Everest Xl Australia features a one-piece tailgate that opens upwards.

But with the L-shaped taillights appearing to be united by a black piece of plastic. We suspect this is a camouflaged LED light bar, or at least wish it is, as the black version would be slightly disappointing.

No images of the interior appear in this video, but we suspect there is nothing new compared to the pickup, aside from the third row of seats and the slightly more upmarket feel.

The SYNC 4 infotainment system will be on board the new Everest, with screens ranging from 12.1 inches to 12 inches depending on the trim.

There’s also a new digital instrument cluster to keep up with the times and competition. Just like the new Ranger, the engine offering will be topped by a 3.0-liter V6 Power Stroke diesel engine borrowed from the F-150.

With 250 hp (186 kW/253 PS). For lesser versions of the SUV, Ford will keep in service its trusted 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel. Ford said the revamped Everest will shed its camo in the first quarter of 2022.

The new Everest will be sharing the upgraded ladder-frame architecture with the 2023 Ford Everest Xl Australia and the upcoming VW Amarok, inheriting the off-road credentials associated with those models.

Powertrain options will be similar, likely including the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder petrol, the 2.0-liter four Finally, an electrified variant has been spied testing hinting at a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

By then we are sure to find out more details about the new model that will be sold in the Asia-Pacific region and probably in Europe too.

Sadly, the North-American markets will not see the new Everest, as it overlaps with the Bronco, another offspring of the Ranger platform.
