2024 Ford Ranger XLT Redesign, Interior, Preview

2024 Ford Ranger XLT Redesign, Interior, Preview – The 2024 Ford Ranger XLT is shaping up to be an exciting addition to Ford’s lineup of pickup trucks. As a four-wheel drive model, it features front tow hooks that make it well-suited for off-road adventures. The blacked-out trims on the exterior suggest,

that it comes with a black appearance package, giving it a sleek and modern look. One of the most significant improvements over the previous generation is the addition of modern features and technology. The new Ranger will come equipped with a standard 10.1-inch or optional 12-inch infotainment display, Sync 4,

and a digital instrument cluster, all of which will offer a more upscale look and feel. The Ranger XLT also provides a host of blacked-out parts, such as 18-inch black-painted aluminum wheels, a black Ford logo, fender vent surrounds, mirror caps, sill plates, lower front fascia, front grille, and running boards,

along with body-color front and rear bumpers. The 2024 Ranger is manufactured in Australia, but the American-spec Ranger is expected to receive many of the features from the global version. Although Ford has not released any official information about the upcoming Ranger, rumors suggest that it may be available,

with plug-in hybrid and electric powertrain options, which would make it a more eco-friendly option for pickup truck enthusiasts. While we don’t have all the details yet, it’s clear that the 2024 Ford Ranger XLT will be an exciting addition to the market when it arrives in 2024.

The boxier and more rugged design, c-shaped daytime running lights, chunkier grille, and beefier front fascia all suggest a more aggressive and capable truck than the previous generation. We can’t wait to see the Ranger XLT in action and learn more about what it has to offer.

2024 Ford Ranger XLT Redesign

The 2024 Ford Ranger XLT will come with a standard 10.1-inch or an optional 12-inch infotainment display, as well as a digital instrument cluster and Sync 4 instead of Sync 3, which is present in the current model. The pickup truck will have a boxier, more rugged design with c-shaped daytime running lights,

a chunky grille, and a beefier front fascia. It will also feature blacked-out parts such as 18-inch black-painted aluminum wheels, black Ford logo, fender vent surrounds, mirror caps, sill plates, lower front fascia, front grille, and running boards, along with body-color front and rear bumpers.

Ford’s designers will likely integrate design elements from the F-150 and Maverick to give the Ranger a familial look with the brand’s other trucks. If the truck has the same interior design as the global version, it will feature an upscale design with a vertically-oriented touchscreen that takes up a lot of space on the dashboard.

The vertically-oriented air vents match the screen’s vertical structure, and physical controls for the HVAC system are expected to sit below the touchscreen. The Ranger will have more interior storage compartments, such as under-seat storage and a hidden upper glovebox in the dash.

The infotainment system will operate Ford’s Sync 4 and include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There may also be a digital instrument cluster, navigation, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and multiple USB ports.

2024 Ford Ranger XLT Engine

The current Ford Ranger is equipped with a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It is expected that the 2024 Ranger will continue to use this engine and transmission combo. While there is a possibility of a turbocharged V6 being offered,

which could pave the way for a Ranger Raptor model, it is not confirmed yet. Although the global Ranger comes with a turbodiesel V6 engine, it is unlikely that this engine will be available for the US market. Ford might update the engine for more power for the 2024 model year, as the current engine produces 270 horsepower,

and 310 pound-feet of torque. The upcoming Ranger is expected to offer the same powertrain options as the current model, but a hybrid option may be added in the future. It is not clear when Ford will release this model to dealerships.
